Colourful Peas

    I'm growing these peas this year for the first time; they have pink and purple flowers followed by purple pods, can't remember its name but they're also mildew resistant. Very impressed so far, wouldn't look out of place in the herbacious border :snork:

      I grew a similar variety last year, called "Stephens", they where a heritage variety.

      Just managed to find the seed packet, this one's called 'Shiraz'...:)

      Well my colourful little peas are producing young pods in abundance now and they are a wonderful colour....

        I grew them last year. The peas tasted nice and the pods are maturing in wine bottles as I type! Cheers, Tony.

          These would be good to grow along with mangetout, on my small veg plot I cram pea varieties together and it's not always easy to tell the normal peas apart from the mangetout.
