hi and sorry if this is a naive question. I have some comfrey growing in my garden - but a whole lot more lungwort. I read that they are from the same family and both have long tap roots (or is this where they differ?). So I wondered if I could use some of the lungwort leaves to make a potash fertilizer in the same way I would use comfrey? Any ideas?

It's a far from naive question Sadowska! It's quite logical and interesting. I've just spent a while 'Googling' but can find no info regarding lungwort as a plant food. However given the fact that it is organic it's bound to provide SOME nutritents, though probably not nearly as much as comfrey. If it did I'm sure someone would have discovered it and written it up.
I'd suggest you try it and see. You might make a horticultural discovery. :dbgrtmb:
