Community Garden recycle greenhouse

    Made out of recycled 2lt plastic bottles all finished now.

    I shall post photos later.

    Today will be areal test with all this heavy rain.

      Good morning John the bottles are threaded into canes then nailed down on to cane well supported then as you can they are fitted on to wooden frames and screwed together and well secured to slabs.

      What a belting idea Scotkat! Are there gaps at the top? Intended vents no doubt. Well done.

      Thankyou Liz took us almost a year hardest part collecting bottles as council recycle get a lot of money per ton.

      Yestereday weather was on our side was in community garden from 10.30am until 4.45pm.

      So pleased with what we acheived yesterday ,its very rewarding.

      Local garden nurserie has donated 40 plants and 10 trays of bedding plants for our project.

      That is amazing! I want one! You do know there are about 100 bottles just in that left hand section? How ever many did you need for the whole thing? And how did you manage to get them - I mean from where did you get them?

      Have you thought of going public with details instructions? (for the likes of me! :wink:)

      The hard part was collecting the 1500 bottles .

      Next part washing and cutting then the fun started.

      And now the play will start.
