    Morning All

So I've planted some Strawberry plants in a pot I was given , I've got 6 plants potted up in the holes in the sides of the pot .

But I didn't think of the top of the pot so at the moment it's bare , I'd like to pop something in to make it look a little better , Any ideas ??

Thanks for any help , Ian

I've got garlic growing amongst my strawbs, but admittedly they're not attractive. You could try marigolds? Borage is probably too big, but it would draw in the pollinators.

I wouldn't put Borage in your planter - the pollinators do like it as said above but it grows very quicly and may suck everything out. Plenty of annuals to choose from ..........the African marigolds may well suit as they are short and colourful.

I do all my strawberries around the base of bigger plants like fruit bushes in pots. Chaenomeles and currants dont seem to care and are easy to train so it lets the strawbs have sun. It needs to be big enough to not get crowded by the strawbs and thin enough the strawbs dont overcrowd it in summer. these are alpine strawbs though
