Thank you all for help that you have given me in the past...

I have an allotment and this is my first year of growing on it.

I want to be as organic as possible. I know I need to plant parsley alongside carrots to ward off carrot fly.

Have you any recommendations for other companion planting?

Hi again, This site give some info.for a start, and can be printed:-
    http://www.gardenguides.com/TipsandTechniques/vcomp.htm
There are lots of books available now, including Bob Flowerdew's [long ponytail!] Complete Book of Companion Planting which can help.
For my garden, I plant chives with roses, nasturtiums with beans and peas, marigolds and parsley everywhere.
