 Can i use the compost from my bin, which is nicely rotted down and crumbly brown now to put on my potato patch ? Indeed first earlies are in so can it go on top of those, ie earthing up ?
Many thanks for any advice....

If it's well rotted you can use it anywhere Time. Earthing up with it should help retain moisture around the haulms.

I use mine like that, I use it to earth up and then after harvesting it is dug in.
