    Hi everyone,

Think I got a bit over enthusiastic with the composting over the summer, and have put way too make grapefruit skins and juice in the composter.

Obviously the bugs and slugs have all disappeared because it is way too acidic in there.

Would I be right putting some Lime in the composter to neutralise this somewhat?

    Thanks
    Mike

I would. It used to be advised to sprinkle the compost heap with lime as it was bulit up.

Yeah think ill get some, put it in an turn the compost so it gets to it all.

Want to get the slugs attracted back to it again, it keeps them away from the rest of the garden lol
