Compost

I grow potatoes in big pots/tubs but this year they have all had blight and I've had to throw them away.
My question is - can the compost be reused for other plants, or spread in the garden,
and if not, what should I do with it ?

 

I dont see why not.

 

Thank you both ... no I didn't think of using it for tomatoes, they're the same family. I always like new compost for those anyway.
I was thinking of using it for potting on cuttings and houseplants/Fuchsias/Pelargoniums etc

I think it's been too wet this year and that caused the blight. It happened several yrs ago too.

 

I emptied the tubs of compost yesterday and found I had quite a nice lot pf potatoes anyway
