computer keeps 'shorting out'?

PC Medic - can you help please. Several times I have tried to copy a disc and every time I close the disc drawer it seems to short out and the whole computer closes down for a moment or two and then restarts. Do I need to replace something? I am worried I might be doing more damage if I try again.

Problem solved -I think!

A very nice man has called and fixed my computer by replacing the disk drive drawer!
Now I can continue putting my LPs onto discs.
Hooray!
