Hi I need some advice. I have chopped a conifer tree down in my garden (about a 3 months ago) and applied Root Out to kill it, we are in the process of diggin up the stump but was wondering if we left any roots in the ground, would they start growing again. Sorry if this is a silly question. Many thanks for any help.

Many thanks, would 3 months belong enough for the roots to be dead?

I may be wrong, but I don't think conifers can create new growth from roots or stump like most broad leaved trees can.

I would think so. But "dead" and "rotten" aren't the same - I expect the roots will still be tough :(
