I was just digging out some containers from last year , and found these three plants still growing in them. Now its probably something obvious but I cant recall what I planted in them last year .
    TIA

I could be miles off here, but did you have any Dianthus last year?

Thanks Longk , I am not much help here ! But I did replace a few plants late in the season last year from our local nursery. So the choice was very limited , they may have been Dianthus  And these would live through a winter ? The Purple haze passion flower that was the centre piece looks like it is not going to show !

I've got this and can't for the life of me remember what it's called (not a lot of help!). If it's the same variety it will have ceris pink flowers and up here in Scotland it flowers around middle end of May so with you it will be flowering shortly I expect. If I have a rush of blood to the head and remember what it's called I will return. It isn't Dianthus tho I'm pretty sure of that.

Dianthus is generally hardy, although short lived (3 or 4 years in my experience).

Post a strong cup of coffee I have an idea the plant is a Lychnis (alpine Viscaria) I think. Maybe have a look at images of what I think it is on the net to see if that jogs the memory. I am not 100% on this tho!
