Can anyone tell me if there is a small amount contents insurance.
Our Daughter is moving into a one bedroom first floor flat and we would like some kind of insurance against burglary and theft.
Everyone company I have tried want her to be covered for over 50,0000 with freezer insurance out buildings garden equipment , etc.
They say it comes as standard , but it's to expensive.
All she wants is cover for her personal possessions and electrical stuff which in total is no more than 5,000.
Is there such an insurance ?

The landlord is covered for the building.

Is she renting? I used to use Endsleigh who specialise for rental properties and young people. I did a quote online and was able to specify what I wanted covered (books and electrical stuff mainly).
