Just a quick look in my coldframe in August and amongst a few things I have several Philadelphus coronarius - 'Variegatus' cuttings all well rooted and growing really well now.

I also have some Primula Alpicola 'Alba' seedlings that I have just transplanted into individual pots.

There's always something growing somewhere :D :thumb:

Update - those Philadelphus cuttings are racing away; one has even got confused by the weather and is flowering  They are now potted up and have been out of the coldframe for about a month, hopefully they should harden off nicely before the winter, either way I'll still give them some protection to get them through their first winter :thumb:

we have some philadelphus manteau d'hermine - they will hopefully sell next spring for my son. Although people like plants in flower and being an early flowerer it isn't so good as the summer flowering shrubs which have had a bit of growing time

Love the philadelphus Bilbo:thumbsup:, I was sent a few cuttings of a gold leaved elder by a friend late August, didn't think they'd root till spring but they've roots showing at the base of the pots already and leaves starting to open!!!!
