I have a contorted willow in my garden that looked lush with new growth up until last month when some of the leaves started to turn black and die..at least 10% is now dead.
    Any ideas anyone please.

It happens Raebhoop, mine does it all the time so I think it's just part of the natural cycle of shedding parts. They do like a lot of moisture and a bit of a feed so as long as it has those it should be fine. Just trim out the dead bits.

I agree with Andy :dbgrtmb:. It happens and it gets over it.

Ours gets bits that just straighten up and die (sorry about the poor humour :heehee:).

Never been able to kill one of these - they only need to look at the ground before they root again!
