    I had 2 japaneze acers and one died last year,while the other one really was gorgeous..but now that one has died too!:(It was in the shadeed part of my garden next to my shed which never dries out..would I be better off planting one in a pot instead of the ground.
    I appear to have the kiss of death as far as acers are concerned..Help.:eek:

    Hi Loo. Welcome back to GC. Whis4ey is really the man for acers so if he doesn't pick this up try PMing him.

    Hello Loopy

    You must be gutted to lose your acers like that, they are such beautiful trees.

    Happens to the best of us - if everything was guaranteed to grow and thrive, all the challenge would be taken out of gardening and it would lose it's edge somehow!

    Enjoy being back on the forum!

    I had a knitted thing when I was a kiddie which I called Loobyloo!
