One of my fav hobbies is Cooking and baking I love experamenting with Cakes, ie. one of the last ones i did was a chocolate mint cake with a fudge butter icing filling topped with melted belgin chocolate, another was a Orange cake with vanilla filling, short bread is another I like to do lemon,Orange ,Strawberry flavours. i cook the roast on a sunday and the wife has no worries about me doing it gives her a rest as she cooks most of week.
Another hobbie is computers building them from scratch and doing repairs on them for friends, it save cash as the price some places charge is rediculas.
And the wife her hobbie is making her own greeting cards in styles of decupage, standard and othere ways.

Jimbo, I like cooking too. I'm not much into making cakes though becasue then you have to eat them and then I have to struggle with my weight.:):) althought I do make lots of different types of breads and rolls.

I have always loved cooking and can remember messing aobut in the kitchen from a very young age.
I do not like to buy any ready prepared foods or ready made sauces since I know I can make it at home and make it a lot better, same goes for jams and chutneys and the rest. (puts me in mind of 'Goodness gracious Me')

Have lately taken up art classes again, I used to paint and draw many centuries ago and have decided that I'd like to go back to it.
I have also been given a really good camera so I now want to get better at taking good photos and also need to get to know how to post them on the fora.

Kedi-Gato...I so agree, home made stuff is so much more tastier and funnily enough, most of my friends will willingly liberate jams and preserves off me without feeling at all guilty.:D:D

I'm a vegetarian so don't cook with meat unless Himself is desperate for a bit of chicken, however I cook lots of curries and upmteen vegetarian dishes and I never have a problem of putting anything left over in the fridge, my friends usually turn up for the dinner with their doggy bags because they know that I always cook more then is needed....now that can be either that they like my cooking or don't like to see me waste food.:D
