    Hi Steve,

No it doesn't wash off. When you want to remove it you need to wipe it off with a cloth. :thumb:

As my greenhouse is too big to wipe it off that way I have to use a broom to reach the roof. Also, I put it on with a sprayer. :)

Excellent! Thanks Shiney, I dont have a sprayer I'll try one of those little misting bottles and/or revert to a brush if that does not work.

    Thanks again.

It does stick on the glass and rain doesn't affect it, not sure how that works but it does. If my memory serves it sticks better to the glass if the glass is dirty.

To get it off you rub it with a dry cloth and it sort of comes off like a powder. Now thats OK for lower panes of glass, but I've painted it on the roof of my greenhouse in past years and it does require a bit of effort getting off i.e. reaching up and over and rubbing hard. I've left it on the greenhouse over winter sometimes as its a bit of a faff getting it all off again in the spring. Last time I used it I painted on the inside of the roof panes so it made it easier for me to clean off.

I put it on with a big paint brush, its more like splashing the liquid on rather than painting. So you can do the roof by sort of flicking it off the end of the brush (hope that makes sense).

On the south side of mine I've put two coats on, to make it even more shaded.

I think it goes translucent when wet - a further benefit :)

I bought one of those telescopic window cleaning thingies (either from Kleeneze or Betterware) - not much use for the bedroom windows but perfect for reaching the greenhouse roof.
