    Morning all,

I haven't ordered as yet as was getting conflicting opinions from nurseries but would the option of two cordons (M9 rootstock) placed as below be suitable. As before, it's south facing and nice and fertile!

Please excuse crude drawing. I'll copy this into the other fruit forum :)

    Thanks in advance

They might be too close together and too close to the fence/wall as cordons. I'd say bring them forward into the border if you really do want cordons. Otherwise train them as espaliers against the wall/fence.

Thanks for advice JWK. Will be planted a foot away from the wall or so and head up at 45degrees. Saw this method at the base of a wall on 'Great British Graden Revival' last week so thought it may be an option. Could easily plant them 2 foot from the wall though..........

I'd go for two foot away, training at 45 degrees is a good idea, should look good too.
