got a red cordyline it has got little ones at the bottem of it what do i do leave them or are they suckers.

 

You can leave them if you like and the plant will become bushy, or you can cut them off and then you will have a single stem with the leaves coming out from the top.
If you do cut them off, as long as they are a reasonable size, you can pot them up for cuttings, although that best done in the summer.

think we will leave them on till
the summer then see what it looks like if we deside to take them of will we have to use rooting powder.
