    I visited A National Trust site this afternoon and was blown away:cool:

    Just thought i would share a few pics of a highly recommended day out that is Corfe Castle:thumb:

    Its fantastic in the flesh. We visited it at the end of May. I've lived in Dorset 31 years and thats the first time i'd visited it. Great pics Slinky we forgot our camera so might nick yours lol

    What a beautiful view, was that from the castle Slinky? Glad you had a nice day out. Looking forward to a few myself, as I'm off work for the next 2weeks. 02

    I'm worse than you at that then, over 70 years here and only been past it, never gone in, similarly Brownsea Island, my first visit there was back in April this year!! Kingston Lacy house first time was 2 years back.

    Often the way though, the places you pass daily you rarely visit.

    Nice to see some more pics of Corfe and with less scaffolding than last year, have been a few times over the years, I see the restoration still in progress.:)
