Corn with scrapes at base of leaves

    First time I am growing corn
    The base of leaves looks like it’s been scraped. Can’t see any obvious pests

    Any ideas what causes this ?

    No one ?

    Anyhow.
    I have sprayed with an insecticide
    And fertilised with the last few waterings.

    So between the 2, this will hopefully go away.
