cornus kousa unwell

    six months ago I dug up a huge laurel tree in my plot, I got out most of the root down to about 18 inches and then planted a cornus kousa on top with loads on compost and horse manure.

    Unfortunately my cornus is now looking a bit unwell, the leaves are a bit yellowy green I think and some are brown at the tips.

    Any ideas?
