Plenty in the local garen centres but expensive and they always seem to be mishapen to me.

They are very popular in this area and recommended as a replacement for our beloved but disease and problem ridden native Cornus florida. The pink ones are much harder to get and often times take years in the ground before developing a rich pink color. We have a big collection on the estate I work on, probably about 10 different cultivars.

They look beautiful in flower, don't they? They also get wonderful autumn color (mix of orange, red and purple), have a copious crop of large red fruit and have great mottled/exfoliating bark. Truly a tree for all seasons!
