Coucou....SW France

Hello there,
Moved to SW France in 2007 and am just turning a bit of ancient French farmland into a garden...at least the bits that haven't been squashed by heavy plant!:cry: My poor plants have been stuck in pots for 2-3 years but thank goodness I brought them over with me.......gardening is horrendously expensive over here! And the compost is, well, don't want to be vulgar in my very first post, so ******* will have to do:hehe:.
I was a professional gardener in the UK..lucky enough to spend 13 years doing what I love most, but nowadays find the sheer physical effort hard going. Enough!!! Sorry to drone on:o Look forward to 'meeting' you all.

Hello noisette .. nice to have more mainland Europe folk here.

Gardening is cheap and easy here in Portugal fortunately (ie, meter high shrubs / plants costing about â?¬5 or less) .... so I thoroughly enjoy it and am doing tropical as well as sub-tropical so that's a big bonus from the UK.
