Could anyone please tell me what these are???

    We were sitting in the Garden yesterday afternoon enjoying a cup of tea when this tiny furry looking white thing walked across the table, followed by another and then a couple of baby ones ! I have never seen them before, they resemble tiny white hedgehogs (but smaller than a Ladybird) If you could tell me what they are i will know if im dealing with friend or foe.

    Yes it does but not quite lol i had just opened a bag of new compost (good make) and i wondered if it could of come out of that, as i have in the past had bugs i didnt need come in bags of compost before, but never ones that looked like these. Thank you for your reply.

    Hmm well it could be a very young Pale tussock larvae/caterpillar.? They are supposed to look white & hairy when small & the body is usually a pale greenish colour
