If you have trouble with slugs you really should get one of these.

An environmentally friendly way of getting shot of the ******s.:D

None other than the "Venus Slug" trap.:yho:

I can't tell who's coming off best, the slug or the plant!?

But that's a beautiful Venus Fly Trap plant. I tried to grow them a couple of times in the past, without success.

Did anyone see River Cottage last night? Hugh F-W thought collecting them but not using them was a waste....so he attempted to cook them! Rather him than me. "Waste not, want not" can be taken a little too far!!

Brilliant pete! Once it has eaten the head, do you think the plant will suck the rest of the slug in? :D

The final outcome, think we can safely say the plant won.

Then I must have the other lot. The ones that eat all my tender shoots, especially ligularia, foxgloves, day lilies, echinacea, lupins and even primrose:mad::mad::mad:

Off to buy a venus fly trap....or 10! Now if only they could live outside and grow in the border!
