Could this be squirrels?

Something is decimating my strawberries and bit the flower buds off all my flowers. I regularly see squirrels in the garden digging up the lawn but haven't seen them near my plants. Could these be the culprits and anyone suggest any remedies please?

 

possibly also pidgeons or rabbits, without wanting to start Another debate again, an air rifle.

Either that or net the strawberries and put up with the flower damadge

Shoot em shoot the lot of em !!!! or if you dont want to see if yu can train a cat to catch em or if that fails then buy some strawberries lol
