Could this latest move by Denmark only add to migrants travelling to the UK?

Denmark approves controversial migrant assets bill

    A snippet
They are not the only country with a similar law but, surely, as more countries close borders and impose stricter immigration laws, this can only add to the numbers of migrants who will continue their journey to here?

They'll get as far as Calais, and then create great disruption for everyone, while not exactly thriving themselves.

The whole thing is a monumental farce. It demonstrates all that is wrong with the 'international community'.

So you get Syrians fleeing civil war. I get that. But it's not only Syrians is it. And they're walking through safe countries and nobody dare stop them and question their motives because that would breach their human rights (simply asking them why they want to come in).

And every time someone attempts to organise anything and track people, suddenly it's likened to what happened to the Jews during ww2. You want free food? ok, we'll feed you for free. Just wear this wristband so that people at the kitchen know we've sent you and your not just some chancer. What? wristbands for free meals? Outrageous!

As to the war in Syria. Britain and US support the 'moderate rebels' (people who chose to take up arms against their own government, ie terrorists). Russia supports the established government. Everyone has their own agenda. A bunch of sadistic freaks fill the power vacuum which was partly created by our side, said freaks are estimated to number 30,000 which is less than our full time army, certainly miniscule compared to the combined forces of all their supposed enemies (eg us and the US) and yet we kind of ignore them and leave them to be utterly evil to people, forcing those that can to run, and then we get upset about the migrant problem.

      One massive, monumental embarrassment.

I'm just kind of glad there are at last other countries out there not scared to say they dont want any more.
        And in effect discouraging them.

Merkel should have been "strug up" for inviting them all to come a few months back, instead they gave her a prize.
How many did she convince it was worth getting in a leaky boat to get to Europe? the land of milk and honey.

It said on the News this evening that in Kent there are no care places available for children, and they are dumping our own kids, in need, on other authorities because the services here are all taken by unaccompanied minors that have come in illegally.

More than anything, the thing that really grinds my gears is the photos of them all protesting or otherwise breaking the law - - many of them are clearly grinning and enjoying their wee battles

Are they all "minors" in the true sense of the word though? My understanding of a minor was aged under 18.

So, I feel quite confused reading a different news article from 2 weeks ago on the closure of one centre for "unaccompanied asylum seeking children" which states:
Now, I know my maths has been a little iffy in the past couple of days ( :heehee: ) and I'm sure cl1 will double check for me, but if 929 are aged under 18 ... how old are the other 468?

This is one of my concerns. They will be bringing that same culture *into* our country - that it is ok to form groups and get their way by force.

Another issue which concerns me with all the mass migration the world is experiencing is a health one. I'm not referring to the NHS specifically, but the potential spread of diseases this country thinks it may have seen the last of due to its vaccination programme or, the spread of newer diseases.

I went for some routine tests yesterday. Blood, ecg and a family of 4 of these newcomers who arrived at the clinic after me, were taken care of first. Leaves a sour taste.....

Look at Canada. When our Pm isn't waving his selfie stick around, he's saying bring em all in....as fast as you can....with no plan

Now I know how they're handling the influx, just push the rest aside....

I do not understand, If it is so dangerous back there, How can you possibly leave the women and children behind
It can only be Finance and not Fear that they are coming

I was offered free food from Harrods food hall, only I had to wear a gold pin they gave me for ID
Outrageous, I told them what they could do with their Hampers

But that is the main point of my query.
Because *other* countries are putting things in place *to* discourage them, its fair to assume that migrants will seek out the country/countries where those sanctions are *not* in place e.g. ... here!

It's impossible for anyone to be certain what they'd do in a hostile situation. But I'm as sure as I can be that if my neighbourhood became overrun with sadistic evil monsters, I wouldn't leave my wifeand two young kids to fend for themselves while I legged it. I'm not saying I wouldn't leg it. I probably would. I just wouldn't leg it without my wife and kids.

Agreed - and I would like to bet that if you were offered sanctuary in a foreign country, and given a free home that you would not complain that the door was painted red...

We are playing right into the hands of the extremists.

Our spineless government bows to the cloud cuckoo lefties. Right wing thrives. Sensible middle ground moves right. People vent their frustration at asylum seekers. Asylum seekers experience the abuse and victimisation. Exactly what the radicals told them we were like. So more people become radicalised freaks, hostile to us.

Whereas if we show some compassion to the genuinely desperate, but on our terms, then who could begrudge that?

In a way you are right but I dont think we are far from top of the list for preferred countries in which to live out your dream anyway.

We are a bit lucky in that we are an island, but how long before the french let that lot go in Calais is questionable.
They stormed a ferry the other night I believe, now that security has been stepped up at the tunnel.
Personally I'd be willing to pay a few quid extra on my taxes if I knew it would be used to apprehend the law breakers and send them back to wherever they came from.

As far as I'm concerned, law breakers ie. truck jumpers or train jumpers etc. forgo any right to asylum and should be deported immediately.
