I dont know if you can get mildew on courgette leaves, but thats what it look like to me - as if they had been spotted with white rain. I have 3 of them - each in a large pot in a sunny (ha) position and feed them regularly. They do seem to be producing som fruits. What can I do to fix them, if anything.
I live in Lancashire and it has been very wet.

    Thanks
    Teressa

Hi sounds like mildew, I dont do anything as eating the courgetes puts me off spraying plus I keep bees , feed once a week and water every day, you will be suprised how quickly they dry out in pots.
thats the best advice I can give

Thanks Spruce. I thought I was doing OK by feeding every 2 wks. Like yourself, I wont use chemicals or sprays, even wary of the organic ones. Will give them another feed tonight.
      Thanks again

      Hi Teressa,

It doesn't usually do them much harm, the new growth will usually out run it.

Yes I agree with Ziggy & Spruce, I've got slight mildew on my courgettes right now, on the lower leaves. It happens every year and doesn't seem to bother the plants. Eventually they look quite bad as the season goes on, but they still keep producing so I don't bother trying to control it.

      Mildew problems here too.

Rather annoying, plenty of breeze, and keep them watered and they should be okay, I'm giving up spraying them with anything to control it on mine.

I've seen it on massive patches in market gardens before, but we just kept harvesting no problems like everyone has said.
