    I dedicate this thread to @Zigs. :)

    Husband Pete and I visited the Crannog today and what a fascinating place. A guided tour took us not just into the Crannog but gave us an insight into the way people lived from the Neolithic age up until the 17th century. Surprisingly, although these people were loch dwellers they didn't eat fish, believing them to be sacred.
