Hi All. I always keep my non hardy fuchsia in the unheated garage over winter. Last year around Feb they were shooting already.Trouble was I had not fully pruned them down,it was no problem doing so when the time came as they grew back ok.
This year again, left shoots longer and 3rd week in December and some are shooting and even got buds on!! same with the Pelargoniums, they are budding!!

Outside I have buds on the Blackcurrent. The climbing rose is budding & flowering and this morning I noticed the patio rose has a bud and is about to flower, crazy crazy weather.

Just been outside and noticed one clematis which looks totally dead had shoots up to 4" (10cm) long on it!! The other smaller clematis also has buds breaking through.

Even up here in Scotland things are pretty abnormal. Despite a few days of cold and frosts about 3 weeks ago many of my deciduous shrubs still have their leaves. Hydrangeas still flowering and loads of my Clematis have new growth too. What I don't know is whether plants will suffer for not having a proper rest period?

Celandines now flowering, it must be Spring! Hang on, there's Antirrhinums & Wild Cornflowers blooming, so it must be Summer. Oh dear, what blooming season is it?

I've also got loads of Fennel sprouting, shame it's the wrong time of year to catch some Mackerel to go with it.

Is a bit mad isn't it. Still got plenty of things in bloom, hardy fuchsias, geraniums, osteospermums, campanulas etc though some looking a bit battered mostly from the winds than cold - winds have been wicked this year. Beech tree looks to be in bud too, very bizarre. Never seen the garden look so lush and full at this time of year.

Thanks @Jiffy will give it a go but I think at one point it kept uploading the same photo and then I had problems trying to delete the extra ones.Every time I start to get the hang of things they do an upgrade and then I am back to square one again.I don't even know how to use Photo Bucket any more:sad:

                        Hi Kandy,

I don't know what Operating System you're using but I'm on Windows 7 and find it much easier to drag and drop. I haven't used Photobucket for a couple of years.

I pull up my photo file, highlight the pictures I want to download, click on the little button at the top right of the screen to reduce the view to half size (the one to the left of the X that closes the window).

I can then see GC in the background with the area that I use for typing (as I'm doing now :)). I then drag and drop the photos. They take a while to upload (they don't drop instantly) and there's a black bar at the top right of the screen that scrolls to show it's loading.

They come in as thumbnails and you can then click on the choice of tabs alongside the photo to display it either as a thumbnail or a full image. :blue thumb:

I just loaded this in 30 seconds and my internet is very slow.

The blossom is opening on my Cherry (Mirabelle/Myrobalan) Plums. Cor, I'm going to get a very early plum crop this year. I'll check my Apple Trees tomorrow.
