    Hello,

This is growing in my garden wall and along the bottom of the fence. It's fairly well-behaved, I can certainly keep it off the beds with little trouble. I have googled and googled to find out what it is, and I'd be grateful for some help, please. The nearest I can find is ground ivy, but it doesn't look quite right. It's starting to die off in one section- too much sun? Not enough water? Perhaps even too fertile a soil where I have my potatoes! Or should I be getting rid of it? Bit loath to do so as the bees seem to like it.

    Any help appreciated.

That is Kennilworth Ivy aka Ivy leafed Toadflax aka Cymbalaria muralis. Wish it would grow here for us. It is a weed and it can be invasive if suited.

Wonderful, thank you very much. As long as it behaves itself it can stay!

When it goes to seed, the flowers curl into any cracks they can reach before dropping the seed, ensuring the next generation stays on the wall.
