Hello. I’m new to Gardeners Corner and looking for some help with a fern. I bought a harts tongue fern in autumn last year and the leaves at the time were very healthy. Over the winter most of the leaves have gone crispy at the edges - likely frost damage (I’ll need to protect it over future winters). Any ideas how I can revive the plant? Should I cut off most of the leaves, or is it best to just leave it as is and hope for the best? It’s currently in a pot but planning to plant it in the ground soon.

I'd wait until some new leaves start to grow then remove any damaged leaves. Something you probably will need to do annually just to tidy it up.
They are hardy and need no winter protection, but if they get exposed to direct strong summer sunlight then that will damage leaves. So plant somewhere where it won't get strong summer sun.

I get them popping up now and then, they're lovely plants.
