I have taken in couple of crocosmia plants that were left over from a plant sale last weekend. The soil/compost in the pots is very dry and the heat (28C at time of writing) has done them no favours. The leaves are turning yellow and crisp and they are drooping alarmingly.
I have given them a good drink and with luck they will revive a little when it cools down over the weekend, but what's the best thing to do with them ? I can't plant them out as I'm hoping to donate them.
If I cut the leaves down, will new ones appear, or am l better to leave them, overwinter in a coldframe come Autumn and hope they reappear next year ? :help:

The last option sounds like the best to me, I cant see them growing new leaves this year now.

Try to revive them if you can but if not I'm sure the corms will survive over winter, but may not flower next year.

Thanks @pete , they've perked up a little but I think it's too late tbh.

Just keep them growing as long as you can, any green is better than none.
