crocus

    can anyone help me. I planted some lawn up with crocus had a lovely display now over and wondered if I can mow it or are crocus like daffodils and need to replenish by leaving the tops on for so many weeks . hope someone knows as hubby is anxious to mow em down!

    leave them for a few weeks, as with all flowering spring bulbs. Take the flower stem off, and let the foliage feed the bulbs, so they will flower well next year. When they're ready to come out, a very gentle pull will remove the leaves from the bulb, rather than pulling the bulb out. Have fun! ;)

    many thanks for advice hubby wiil have to put up with the long grass a bit longer!
