    Hi all,

I bought 10 mini terracotta pots (about 3inch tall) last autumn and planted 2 crocus bulbs per pot. I then hid these behind some plants in the back garden. When they started sprouting i move these to the front drive. We have a gravel rockery type strip down the side of the drive. I shoved these in the gravel where they flowered and looked nice.

They obviously have finished and have all died back. Should i leave them in the pots, put them behind the plants in the back garden again and wait for them to re-sprout in winter/spring, or, take the bulbs out, empty the compost and re-plant in new compost in autumn?

Can you not scrape back some of the gravel and plant them in the soil (assuming that there is soil) underneath? It'll save a lot of messing about and they'll multiply better too.
If this is not possible, leave them undisturbed for a couple of years, again to help them multiply. You can top the soil up if needed.
