Lovely HB and the sloes will make much better gin when the frost has been on them!

Thanks folks! People often ask what camera I use. This is it. Its a simple little one that slips into my pocket or clips on to my belt so I always have it with me. I can't praise it enough - It's brilliant though now a bit dated. I'm sticking with it though.

I have the sony cyber-shot digital the only difference being mine is 6 pixels, I honestly thought with those pictures you would of had a camera with more zoom and very expensive like £1000, anyway it takes fabulous pictures.

Er, forgive me if you do not approve, but I took the liberty of doing a little post posting editing. (Well it is so foggy you cannot garden!).
    This is the first picture.

I sharpened it up a little.
It really was such an excellent picture I could not help myself.

No problem Pal. No can afford £1000 cameras, Rosa. There are people around who spend that kind of money and buy a camera that is so complicated they never figure out how to use it and so it stays in the cupboard.. I go for simple

I don't use the zoom for photos like these, Rosa because you can't get them sharp. Instead I switch to close up and wide angle and then get in very close - just a few inches.

    Glad you like them [IMG]

The camera pic was taken on the scanner, Pete. You can use a scanner for all sorts of things - flowers, small objects etc. Great fun.

hb what i meant was the pics you took you would think they had been taken with a very expensive camera, sorry didnt make myself too clear and i would stick with that camera with the great pictures you are getting with it. brill.
I will have to try that not to use the zoom and get in close, great tip for wildflower hb.
