    It's nearly cuckoo time.
    Who's heard it?
    Where?
    Seen it?
    I just love cuckoo time!

@Penny_Forthem Some are here and others on the way. Heard at Arne RSPB today and one seen on Bodmin Moor.

I heard the first cuckoo here on the 17th March but have never seen one.

Sorry @DiggersJo. I have an advantage as I live rurally and my garden overlooks a valley. Any sound echoes through there.

They are a rarity now. I hadn't heard one for a couple of decades until I moved here.

They're common on the lower slopes of the Argyll/Loch Lomond/Crianlarich hills around this time of year until about late May or even later. I often hear them.
I tried to catch one on my camera video [sound] when I was doing An Caisteal [Crianlarich] last June. Too far away for it though - just a good video of the midges instead

Rarely hear them in Guildford, in the 40 years we have been here maybe twice. I'd gladly swap them for the pesky Parakeets

It varies around here. Last year I only heard a few, and they were in the distance. The previous year I heard lots and they were near by.
None this year yet but I haven't really spent much time in the garden so far, so wouldn't have heard them.
