    Looks like mildew.
Not sure what you can use on cues these days regarding fungicides.

Is the plant getting a bit dry at the roots perhaps, that can sometimes bring on the problem.

I don`t think there is any spray you can safely use on members of the cucurbit family. I would remove any affected leaves and hope for the best. Also improve ventilation.

Cucurbits are so susceptible to " tainting " Pete, I wouldn`t reccomend anything.

My cucumbers (and courgettes) usually get mildew later in the season on the lower leaves. Personally I don't bother doing anything about it. Mildew doesn't seem to affect the yield provided it's not the whole plant suffering.

It's a bit early in the season to get it now, I guess it's the cold nights and high humidity causing it. I'd pick off any leaves that seem badly affected increase ventilation and as pete says, make sure the compost isn't dry.

I've read that a diluted solution of milk and water will stop mildew. It would be worth a try whether it works or not I guess....... At least it isn't toxic and it's cheap.
