Hi all - i've just bought some seeds and realised that the cucumber seeds i've bought are Marketmore - an outdoor variety - would these be ok to grow throughout the season in a greenhouse instead, or would a dedicated indoor cucumber seed be better and if so which variety is recommended and reliable?

    thanks all

Don't bother with Marketmore inside a greenhouse they don't do very well. Get an 'All female F1' variety instead, I'm growing Socrates F1 this year but I've never noticed any difference in taste or performance in any variety, they are all equally good. The F1 seed are much more expensive and you only get a few in the packet, well worth it because they are easier and more reliable than the older varieties. I'm waiting a couple more weeks before sowing mine.
