We have just been given a cucumber plant and we where told the variety was "Pertipa, or something like that". I've googled it with no joy and looked at variety lists for something similar..again no joy. They are a smallish fruit we are told, does anyone know what variety its likely to be?

    Many thanks

I've heard back from the person who gave me the plant and it was from "Johnsons" seeds and this was on the front of the packet.

"Petita type ,all female mini cue for the greenhouse" cucumber "Socrates F1"

So now I know, and you do too.
