I have just planted a couple of Marketmore cucumbers in my green house and I'm not at all sure if it is a variety which needs the male flowers removed ... help please??

Marketmore is an outdoor varierty. Sorry but I wouldn't bother with Marketmore inside a greenhouse, you will have lots of problems with the fruit going bitter. Replace it with an F1 variety.

You've still got plenty of time to start another batch of F1 cucumbers - mine have only just germinated and I reckon its slightly early days yet - aim to get them into the greenhouse in mid to late May (depending on where yoy are, last frost date and how sunny your greenhouse position is).
