cukes

    this is a pic of my cuke plant one small cuke and 2 or 3 flowers forming around it is this how this variety grow (marketmore 76).
    any advice please weather to remove anything cukes.jpg

    If you Google market more cucumber it says it's a ridge type.
    That means you need the Male flowers to pollinate the female ones.

    I've never grown it, so don't know but apparently it trails a fair distance.

    thanks pete, had another look today and some of the flowers are male so i will leave it alone and see what happens.

      yes they are in the greenhouse will probably pinch out if the get to around 4 foot, what do you think ?

      Yes you can pinch out they will probably then branch out.

        I grew some Marketmore in the greenhouse years ago and they just went mad, all leaf and very few cucumbers. I got the feeling that they prefer cooler conditions and really need to be outdoors.
