    this is the local cullercoats clock tower, the guys play snooker in there have done for many years

    looks lovely rosa

    have been to bamburgh and the coastline up there is stunning

    thanks cumberland, we have a fabulous coastline all way way up to bamburgh especially when the weather is lovely

    yes
    lovely white sandy beaches all the way up the northumberland coast

    our beaches over here are luminous haha sellafied!

    I Love Cullercoats Rosa, Its Deffo the best of the 3. had some great days there, pity it wasn't bigger tho..

    I don't really know that part of the country Rosa but it looks really lovely. What a great colour the water is! :)
    The sea around our coast often looks grey.

    thanks capney, dee and jazmine, the sea has been pretty dull lately till the weather got nicer it has a nice colour, it is a fairly small beach yet we have the best of both worlds having tynemouth beach and whitley bay beach, also further up the coast is seaton sluice beach with lovely sand dunes must go up there sometime and get pics

    Just had a look on the map Rosa.
    The furthest North I have been is to Whitby!

    hi jazmine been to whitby myself nice place and we are further down the north east coast we are about 2 hours drive from whitby

    My auntie-in-law lives in Cullercoats. I've only been there once but I remember being distinctly impressed. The one day I was there we were having some red hot sunny weather, and that combined with the clean beach in a bay and the translucent sea put me in mind of holidays abroad.

    clueless do you keep in touch with your anutie never know i might know her as everybody knows everybody here in cullercoats.
    thanks walnut there wasnt too many on the beach but i must say there was more on that beach than the week before, i thought it was a little breezy to cold for me to sit on a beach
