Cultivator or Rotavator?

Hi, I need some sort of power tool to help dig up my terrible back yard as its just all humps, lump and holes. I will be hoping to lean heavily on this forum for advice as I know nothing about gardening.

So, do I need a cultivator or a rotavator to dig the ground up?

 

As this will probably be a one off job, what you need is a tool hire shop and if one doesn't work to your liking then take it back and use the other. Plus you will get good advice from the hire shop owner. They also may deliver to site free.
