    :) Hiya rosa ... here I am ....

That's very interesting that the leaves outside of the balcony are purple and the ones inside are green. It's been two/three years since I did them and to be honest I can't remember any purple leaves on mine ... but that's not to say they were not there! You had mentioned to me in the PM that you thought the sun has caused the colour change. However, when I had that large vine it was ALL in the sun and it was all green ... I think ....

Now, forgive these photographs as they were when I first held a digital camera :dh:but now that I look the second one seems to have the new growth as purple and the third one down looks like it has purple leaves.

I think the new growth is purple in full sun, as it ages it turns green.

Under glass it would probably all be green, its just one of those things, plants colour up better in full sun outside, in most cases.

hi victoria just looked at yours and they are all green the leaves that is, all mine inside the balcony are all green, its just recently that the new growth has ended up outside the balcony and turned red both the stem and leaves.just cant understand it very strange indeed.

pete looks like your right with the new growth its very exposed to full sun, its growing fine will see what happens at a later stage and put pics up again.
thanks for your input much appreciated
