Currently listening to 2017

Like you BeeHappy my love of music was handed down, but mine came from my dad. I can remember way back when he was putting together his first stereo system in the '60's. He drove north, I think it was to Birmingham from Essex to pick up his speakers, a pair of Wharfedale's, at that time they were the best in his eyes. When it was all rigged up I couldn't believe the sound that hit us, it blew our minds! My dad and his brother, both self taught, played piano accordions and that music was his first love. Although like yourself he would listen to most things and appreciate it for what is was, even when I blasted him with rock. I'm a huge Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant fan.

May be it's my age Beehappy, but all I here is a din and the music of recent years all sounds the same to me. I tend to pick out distinctive voices and music and they stay with me. I became a fan of this chap a few years ago.
