    HI!
Im new to this. Happy new year to you all!
My son bought me a basket of herbs for xmas and there is a strange looking plant he said is a curry plant. It looks similar to rosemary and smells of curry. Can anyone give me info on this?
By the way I live in Hull and have just had my garden landscaped with bricked high borders it is a dream. when I learn how to I will post a pic of it as its gorgeous. Done by a local guy who is reasonably priced and has lots of ideas.
Plus all the cats in the neighbourhood have decided to now use my borders as their toilet are there any herbs or plants they dont like which I can plant to deter them?

As for the cuury plant, well I wouldn't have one in my garden. A friend of mine did when she first moved into her new house and she didn't know and thought the smell was coming from a nearby Tandoori, no joke, when I told her this was the smell she got rid of it. It a nice plant if you like that smell all the time but it can get a bit much in the hot weather, it's not much to look at either, maybe plant it in a pot at the bottom of the garden. As for cats, they say Tea bags soaked in Olbas Oil scattered around does the trick or there is a plant but the name escapes me that Thompson and Morgan were selling that does smell so much it annoys them, maybe someone can give you the name.

Try some Lion's poo sold under the name of "Lion's Roar"! Makes visiting pussies think twice before meddling with the home cat!
