Ive got a lawn that is approx. 120 feet by 50 feet.

It has curved egdes but it just dosent look right, Ive tried using a hosepipe but I cant get it to look right.

How do other people get a pleasing shape?

    Many thanks,
    Gary.

    The theory is easy.

Make a scale plan of your garden - the larger the better and using a fixed datum point as your start - eg the wall of your house or the fence or path

Draw on it the curve you want - you may need to use a pair of compasses - a plate, or tray to get the curve.

Measure the curve at equal points (eg every metre from say the fence) Replicate those points in your garden putting pegs in. Lay the hose against the pegs and then see what it looks like.
remember to use rightangles to get it exact.
