Hi all, thought you might like to see this little cutie. My wife and I spotted it wandering along the path in Protaras/Cyprus last year [IMG] . Made sure to put it somewhere safe so as not for it to end up as a soccer ball, albeit a small one [IMG]

Aaah - he (she?) does cute pretty well! Hope you didn't get to share the fleas, though!!! [IMG]

Pity you couldn't let it loose in your garden back home!!! Sadly we don't see many of them here. So we've got slugs and snails in abundance - as they say, "like a hedgehog's got fleas"!!! :D

What a pretty little thing soooo cute

When I rescued Holly and Ivy several years ago,I only ever found one flea and soon got rid of that.I don't think they had a chance of catching any from mum becasue they were about the size of the one in the photo when I found them walking towards a dual carriageway

Lovely clear photos well done [IMG]

HB I called them Holly and Ivy because I found them December time way past the time for hibernation,so becasue it was coming up to Xmas decided on festive names. They were far too low in weight to hibernate so after contacting The Hedgehog Preservation Society for advice, bought a rabbit hutch and kept them until April when we released them back into the wild. [IMG]

They were very nice but didn't half pong when I cleaned them out. They wouldn't eat slugs or snails, but lived on cat food and hedgehog food we got from our local pet food store ...

    What a little darling!

We rarely see hedgehogs around our garden, even though we live nearly on the outskirts of the town.
